Ils sont à Nendaz et dans les 4 vallées depuis des années – chacun ayant sa propre passion pour le ski et les montagnes. Leur expertise pédagogique vous aidera à profiter de votre temps sur les skis que vous soyez débutant ou skieur hors piste!

Charlotte

Moniteur de ski

Qualification: BASI Niveau 4 ISTD

Charlotte travaille comme moniteur de ski à Nendaz depuis 10 ans, où elle a la chance de vivre toute l’année! Elle a un amour profond pour le ski et les montagnes. Elle a la passion pour toutes les parties du ski de clapotis les bosses, jouer dans les arbres ou de skier sur la piste, elle essaie constamment d’améliorer son propre ski ainsi que d’autres. Souvent vu avec une traînée d’enfants derrière elle, son enthousiasme pour le ski et les montagnes est sans fin!

Originaire du Devon, elle a toujours aimé le plein air et a eu la chance de commencer à skier à l’âge de 6 ans. Pendant son congé d’enseignement, elle sera trouvée skier pour elle-même ou faire le tour de la montagne!

Piles

Moniteur de ski

Qualification: BASI Niveau 3 ISIA Alpine

Piers a passé plus de dix ans à travailler dans les Alpes et a été basé à Nendaz pendant cinq saisons. Pendant ce temps, il a appris à connaître les 4 Vallées et croit qu’il est l’un des plus grands domaines skiables qu’il a skié dans, avec beaucoup à offrir à tous les niveaux de skieur.

Piers travaille actuellement à sa qualification de niveau BASI 4 et le timbre ISTD qui est la plus haute qualification dans les sports de neige britanniques.

En dehors du ski, Piers aime une variété de sports, y compris le squash, la randonnée, le wake-board et le vtt. Il aime aussi cuisiner et en particulier BBQ’ing! La période préférée de Piers est le printemps où il y a de bonnes conditions de ski le matin suivies d’un après-barbecue.

Sander est connu pour son ski étonnant, sa connaissance du terrain et son amour pour la nature. Il est né aux Pays-Bas et a commencé à skier à l’âge de 4 ans dans les Alpes suisses. Il a commencé à travailler comme professionnel des sports de neige en 2000.

Il entraîne surtout des skieurs qui améliorent leur technique hors-piste, les guident en toute sécurité tout en trouvant toujours des moyens d’améliorer leur technique. La sécurité en montagne est son autre priorité principale lors de ces voyages, et il y a donc beaucoup de soin à faire en ce qui concerne les terrains dangereux et la gestion des risques.

Sander travaille également pour le Centre de sécurité des neiges. Il a travaillé pendant de nombreuses années comme guide de ski SSC, offrant une formation en montagne et la sensibilisation aux avalanches. Par conséquent, il connaît toujours les dernières techniques de gestion des risques et de recherche et de sauvetage.

Dans ses temps libres, Sander est habituellement en plein air sur la montagne, en descendant des pentes raides ou à travers des couloirs étroits et est toujours à l’affût de nouvelles routes fraîches.

Tom a grandi avec une passion pour le ski dès son plus jeune âge. Après une carrière de 10 ans d’un emploi de bureau banal dans le Cheshire au Royaume-Uni où il a grandi, il a pris le plongeon de s’entraîner comme moniteur de ski. Tu n’es jamais trop vieux, semble-t-il ! Maintenant, avec 10 saisons de ski à son actif (dont 9 à Nendaz), on peut dire qu’il est très heureux de son choix qui change la vie!

Tom est tombé en amour avec Nendaz après sa première saison ici il ya 8 ans et a toujours été désireux de revenir. Il s’installe ici de façon permanente avec sa femme fay, pour profiter du style de vie de la montagne d’autant plus. Randonnée à vélo et sur piste en été, ski et randonnée en hiver. La vie est belle!

Tom est actuellement en train de se convertir au système suisse snowsports et travaille à l’obtention du prestigieux « entintiement seu ».
Son passe-temps de ski préféré est les bosses. Vous le trouverez toujours quelque part dans un domaine de bosses dans son temps libre. Il adore skier ces bosses!

Sam

Qualification: BASI Niveau 2
Langues: Anglais, Français

Sam a eu la chance de passer sa vie partagée entre le Dorset et le Français Alpes. Il a appris à skier et est tombé amoureux de la montagne en 1999 alors qu’il vivait en France. Il a toujours été passionné par le ski et la montagne, car Sam étant moniteur de ski est un grand plaisir, lui permettant de partager sa passion avec les gens autour de lui. Son type de ski préféré est une journée de poudreuse profonde ou un tour de ski ensoleillé.
Il travaille actuellement à sa qualification alpine de niveau 3 de l’ISIA. Quand il n’est pas sur la montagne, il aime jouer au tennis et au golf.

  Amazing
The best skiing school and skiing instructors in Nendaz!! My daughter and I were skiing with Charlotte Vantreen and she was amazing. I can honestly say after skiing with Charlotte my daughter can ski any runs.

  Chance encounter with lasting relationship
First engagement was us coming down the Yellow Slope in Siviez where we were maybe a bit too ambitious.  Charlotte and the team saw us and took control.  Fast forward 2 seasons later and we go down the Yellow slope with ease, mostly due to Charlotte's team.  

Now - think phobia of heights and speed and then combine 4 Valleys Red and Black Slopes.  For one that would only venture on the blue Siviez slope, to overcome these phobias and have the 4 Valleys open up to her was a distant dream.  This was achieved through Charlotte's team.  They are patient, understanding and not in it just to babysit, but to really elevate your ability to elevate your experience.  Cannot recommend enough.

  A Great Experience.....
Charlotte was able to offer lessons and a flexible schedule where the other schools could not. Nothing was too much trouble for them; a delight to deal with. it was my daughters (16 & 20) first time skiing and, thanks to the instructors provided, they both are keen to go again. My eldest didnt want to ski and had decided she would hate it before we got there. Her instructor Chris turned that around; she loved it (and could ski!!) after 2 days with Chris. I cant thank him enough for making our Family trip a success and would highly recommend him. Thanks to all at Montagne Magique!!

  Refresher lessons
Charlotte is an excellent teacher. Perfect confidence boost and refresher for a frequent skier.  She’s got great ideas and really took time to help me put theory into practice.   Teach me!
Been skiing my whole life (43 y.o.) but never had formal instruction.  Was very concerned, at a technical level, that I was making skiing hard on myself.  Turns out I was.   Tom helped me through some drills and it forced me to focus on some of my habits that I can now work on in my own time.   Highly recommend and worth the time and cost.  Do it at the beginning of your ski trip, not the last day....that helps.

  Highly Recommend Private Ski Lessons Nendaz
I was looking for a private ski lesson that would make me feel like I made good progress in the session having had some bad experiences in the past. I had a three hour lesson with Charlotte which was so beneficial. She quickly established my level and worked on the areas of my skiing that needed addressing. It was done in a very relaxed way and she taught me basic techniques that I can not believe I had never been taught before as it was a game changer. I felt so much more confident after the lesson and spent the rest of my week putting it into practice. It was very good value for money and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for ski lessons in Nendaz!

  Brilliant instruction
Charlotte took our 3 children for 4 days and coped admirably with the 3 levels. She held their interest, taught them brilliantly, and the improvement in all was huge. Most importantly they loved her and could not wait to get up the mountain each morning. I would absolutely recommend her and the team and will definitely call her when we return.

  Amazing Coaches - took a group of almost beginners to black runs in 1 week
Probably the best ski coaching you could ever have. They were responsive, engaging and professional from start to finish. We are a family of five with mixed abilities, ages and fitness. Charlotte and Rich were amazing, they made learning fun for the whole family, with lots of games and exercises. They are not your ordinary ski instructors but coaches that can handle a diverse group of individuals and bring them all to the best level they can achieve. It started with getting us all through the basics. Then with astute observation during each morning they gave us all individual tips and coaching to improve. We all started on the baby/beginners slope on day 1. After 4 days my wife and I were comfortable on the red runs, my daughters on the black runs and my son completing itineraries and moguls.   Amazing Instructor
I had two 3hr lessons with Charlotte at the beginning of the week. I started to learn to carve properly and even tackled some black runs. Charlotte was really thorough with my technique and gave me lots of things to work on for the rest of the week. A big thank you for being so patient with us all! And also showing us the apres bars! You went above and beyond! See you next season :)
